Letter to parents
Dear Dad,
I'm writing this letter to let you how I miss you after 2 months of studying abroad. Are grandma, mom, and my sister all doing alright? By the time I'm writing this letter I really miss everyone and really want to see everyone. I miss going to the park with my sister and mom, cooking Vietnamese dishes with grandma and especially going out for breakfast with you every weekend after we finished playing tennis together. I know it's only been two months but I already miss those peaceful feelings to be with our family. If ignoring the fact that I really want to go home to meet everyone, my life here in my new school is going pretty well too.
Speaking of my life right now, I find my new school really interesting too. I meet lots of new friends, some of them are very kind, funny and I really enjoy having a conversation with them but there are also annoying kids that make me feel offended by just looking at them. I think classes here are really interesting, teachers here really devoted and always try to help their students best as the could, and I always feel excited about going to class every day because of knowing that I'm going to study many new things especially in the language that I didn't use a lot before. There are a variety of sports in my school and I always try to participate in at least one for my after school activity. Foods here on campus are different from home and sometimes I get bored with their cooking style but please don't worry about me because I can find some delicious aspect of dishes that I'm having every day and I enjoy it well sometimes.
In general, though I miss our family a lot but I'll try to get used to this new life and make you, grandma, mom proud and create a good role model for my sister by keeping my grade high in class.
Sincerely,
Your son.

I am happy to hear that things are good! However, what does "feel offended just by looking at them" mean? What happened???
